CCM is an independent construction consulting company. We provide estimating and cost consulting for Owners, Architects and Contractors
Our mission is to ensure the best value in construction with the wisest use of resources. We empower sustainable solutions for the long term and solve problems in the short term.
We estimate projects at all stages, from preliminary sketches or programs, up through construction documents. The earlier in the process we are brought in, the better, since we can help an owner keep to the budget without re-design.
We specialize in Green Building; as our mission statement says, we have championed sustainable solutions since the company was founded, fourteen years ago.
We work in the commercial and institutional sectors, estimating all types of buildings. We include multi-family projects and affordable housing. However we are not involved in residential construction. We have a sister company, EcoHome Advantage, that was set up to provide consulting and analysis for Green Homes.
We also carry out training in estimating and organize seminars. We can provide specific software solutions for contracting companies.
As part of our overall quest to find the best long term value, and promote sustainable cosntruction, we can also carry out Life Cycle Analysis and Life Cycle Costing. We can do constructability and document completeness reviews, as well as Value Engineering.
The principal of the company, Dean Sherwin, has a background in architecture in addition to many years' experience in estimating, project management, and Green building.
We serve the Midatlantic region, although we have estimated projects from the Atlantic to the Rockies, and from Long Island NY to Florida
We do not seek to construct your project or have any other agenda than to faithfully represent the cost of construction and to strive to ensure the best value for our clients.
